Tri-City Area United Way envisions a world where all individuals and families achieve their fullest potential through education, financial stability and healthy lives.

Three task forces are actively focused on three major community concerns: Substance Abuse, Educational Opportunity, Parenting Education.

C2C SUBSTANCE ABUSE TASK FORCE
      Coordinated by Sarah Hanson, Healthy Youth Coalition

  • Age 0 to 8 -- Working with Youth and Parents
  • Youth -- Youth over the age of 8
  • Anti-Opiate / Heroin Impact
  • Prescription Drug Abuse -- Educating prescribers
  • Business -- Educational presentations at the work place



C2C EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES TASK FORCE

      Coordinated by Beverly Schewe, Menominee County Intermediate School District

  • Ages 0 to 8
  • Middle School (Grades 6 to 8)
  • High School to Post-Secondary

 

C2C PARENTING EDUCATION TASK FORCE
      Coordinated by Julia Nutter, Big Brothers Big Sisters

  • Strengthening Families Program (SFP)
  • Parents with children ages 10 to 14
