1949: The City of Marinette formed the Community Chest, with a campaign budget of $23,205. They changed their name to United Way of Marinette in 1971 with a campaign goal of $41,000.

1954: The City of Menominee formed the Menominee United Health and Welfare Fund, changing its name to Menominee United Appeal in 1970. They had a campaign goal of $40,000. They changed their name to United Way of Menominee in 1975.

1984: The United Ways of Marinette and Menominee merged as M & M United Way.

TCAUW is in it's sixth decade! Over the years, words like Red Feather Drive, United Appeal, and Community Chest helped describe us. In 1950, Marinette in-plant campaigns initiated the payroll deduction. This was the starting point that allowed local employees of larger companies to give back to their communities.

Throughout the years, TCAUW has been focused on the development of key initiatives that will impact our communities. TCAUW improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of our communities and advance the common good. We will create lasting change by promoting educational success, financial stability and health and well-being for all residents.
